2007 was a transitional year for me. I typically rode by myself in previous years or with my friend Al. I preferred it that way, however in 2007 I accepted some friends from work to accompany me on my annual September ride. I confess to having a lot of fun setting the ride up for them and for their company. Thereafter, there have been people with me on the majority of rides and it is a trend that may continue. The rides I chronicle from 2008 onward tend to be group rides.
I retired on the end of december 2010 and have a full riding schedule established for 2011. I'll do a great bit of that solo as my acquaintances still work, however, I do expect to have some company on at least a couple of the rides I have planned.
To continue with the site format, simply pick from the ride list at the right - and hopefully enjoy.
Laurie and I took a ride over Spring Break in April of 2007. I had acquired a K1200LTC and it was our miden voyage on the big bike. Our route took us along the oregon coast and eventually to Belknap Hot Springs and home. The weather was stellar with 70 degree days and cool evenings - very peasant.
On the way we stopped in McMinville, OR to see the Spruce Goose and the other aricraft on display. The slide show you see reflects some of what we saw there. You can click on each picture to see the large size.
You are encouraged to visit this place and enjoy the vintage aircraft, and tour the Oregon coast.
